I mean seriously, HELLO! What’s your name? Where are you from? What do you love in life? Whatever, whoever, It’s good to meet you! Imagine that the comment button is a guest book. Sign the guest book! Say hello…

I am curiously inspired. Or if you’d like, you can call me Denise. You can visit once or return again and again. I’m just happy you came. That you found me in a sea of bloggers, many of them so much more interesting and talented than I am. I certainly plan on visiting as many of them as I can! Feel free to recommend the most interesting of interesting wordsmiths but remember…sometimes the most interesting things lay just beneath the surface of those boring words…normal, average, ordinary. The places we look least for it and the places we least expect it, yet it’s usually there regardless of whether we are paying much attention or not. Sometimes it’s that hidden “awesome” element that contains exactly what we need at the time.

So here I am, trying to live with my eyes bug eyed open! Looking for awesome in both ordinary and extraordinary alike.

I’m here to use blogging as a paintbrush in my life. A way to create and live in art. The art of simply being and sharing with other people. A way to grow by thinking, searching, and sharing. A way to explore what ever comes to mind.

If I can count myself lucky I’ll meet here online an entire tribe of individuals from around the country and around the world. Characters who like me are in their own ways unconventional, goofy, quirky, well intentioned, searching, loving, living. All of us marching to our own different drummers and yet all of us aware or unaware of it marching to that steady beat of life that connects all of us. If you ask me, that’s a freeking amazing thing! Too amazing to ignore….

If I’m lucky I might meet you!

Denise, finding the awesome in the ordinary and extraordinary alike is really nice way to put it, the art of keeping the creative spark alive. And you’re also right, we get exactly what we need at exactly the right time, always. I’ll be coming back for more, keep writing.

Maxine, thanks for stopping by! I love visitors and meeting new people. 🙂 Sometimes it’s hard to keep the creative spark alive. The world can be a messy place. Life can take a lot of energy and present us with some serious challenges. I can’t pretend I’m always an optimist but yes, we find what we need when/where we need it if we have an open heart and open mind and we pay attention. I do believe the most powerful tool we have is our state of mind. Happiness is a choice, right? I love running into people who experience life with a creative spark. How ever that spark might be used doesn’t matter. Creativity comes in so many wonderful forms!! I’m so happy you took a moment to leave a note. Bless you and your creative spirit!
